I live south of Boston, MA with my husband and two young girls. When I am not knitting, I am working as a graphic designer and web/email designer, creating beaded stitch markers, or chasing my daughters around the house and yard.
Knitting is something that has brought me great comfort when dealing with the typical stresses and anxieties of the day. I enjoy dreaming up new projects, hunting for the perfect skeins, casting on, and finding my rhythm with each row. Sometimes challenging myself to see how quickly I can knit through rows, but mostly just taking my time with each stitch.
I predominantly knit shawls and many of my favorite projects include mini skein sets – although I hate weaving in all those ends! Someday I hope to teach children to knit and help them find their own comfort in yarn.
